Go outside and look up into the night sky, a closer look can reveal fascinating things each week to be
observed and explored either naked eye or with optical help. Our earth is truly a dynamic and complex Planet
rolling under a vast, endless sea of space. Constellations pivot about the North celestial pole as the earth rolls
silently on from West to East so in enough time spent outside a new set of constellations will have appeared to
have risen in the east. What a grand illusion of things "appearing" to rise in the East and set in the West when
in reality it's the Earth moving under our feet!
Thinking about the Earth, its interconnected systems and cycles, the Earth and its near space environs, and
the grander place of the Earth against the starry backdrop of the night sky can make one realize how small we
are in the grand scheme of things - away from the TV and the office chatter. Get in a car, drive across town -
It's a long way from Lehigh to Naples! Even further by plane from the Airport to the Pacific NW - how about
from the Earth to Jupiter? Wow its 88,846 miles away and from earth to the Andromeda Galaxy 2 million light
years distant at the speed of light - it would take us 2 million years to get there! Use the below link to discover

Regarding the 2012 scare
The predictions of doomsday or dramatic changes on December 21, 2012 are all false. Incorrect doomsday
predictions have taken place several times in each of the past several centuries. Bear in mind “extraordinary
claims require extraordinary evidence.” For any claims of disaster or dramatic changes in 2012, the burden of
proof is on the people making these claims. Where is their science? Where is their evidence? There is none,
and all the passionate, persistent and highly profitable assertions, whether they are made in the many books,
movies, documentaries or over the Internet, cannot change that simple fact. There is no credible evidence for
any of the assertions made in support of unusual events taking place in December 2012.
